The German automaker, which has previously collaborated with Microsoft earlier on cloud computing, is looking to make a qualitative jump into autonomous driving thanks to this partnership.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to reports, the main objective for Volkswagen is to combine its knowledge of autonomous driving systems with Microsoft&rsquo;s &ldquo;Azure cloud computing&rdquo; to create the Automated Driving Platform (ADP).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In fact, Volkswagen expects that ADP could be used for a number of different aspects, including ride-sharing, micro mobility or short-term rentals.
